Mission Statement

To discover God’s love, acceptance and forgiveness and His direction for our lives.

To have Jesus Christ at the centre of our lives as Saviour and Lord.

To see His kingdom grow through the power of the Holy Spirit.

To be Christ’s witnesses in Ardleigh Green and where ever He sends us.

OUR GOAL IS TO GROW!
(Acts 1:8, 11:19-30) through:

Communication:To inform and motivate people for service.
Rescue:To save and set people free in Christ.
Outreach:To show God’s care in the world.
Spirituality:To seek and know God’s will.
Skills:To equip God’s people for ministry.

COMMUNICATION (Acts 2:42-47)

To be a welcoming church and to build up our fellowship, by spending time together.
To be responsive to members concerns and to share our Vision and Goals for Growth with each other.
To motivate people to move forward in their service for Jesus.
To develop relationships with the wider Christian Community.
To encourage tithing and use it constructively in the Lord’s Work.

RESCUE (Acts 11:21)

To lead people to the Saviour, by creative evangelism and openness to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
To preach the Good News of Jesus Christ.

OUTREACH (James 2:14-18)

To demonstrate God’s love through practical care; seeking to meet the needs of our community.
To be witnesses for Christ in our daily lives and to motivate people for mission both overseas and at home.

SPIRITUALITY (Ephesians 6:18)

To raise up men, women and children to do great things in God’s power.
To discover more of God’s Vision through faithful Prayer.
To listen to God and to develop personal holiness.
To surround our worship with prayer.
To commit ourselves to praying for one another and to prayer for Healing .

SKILLS (Romans 12:6-13)

To recognise and use our gifts and abilities.
To share practical skills, to mentor and equip others.
To enable a new generation to mature in ministry.
To be a resource enabling the Church and the Kingdom of God to grow.
To make what is good in the parish better.
