The Mission Statement of the Diocese
of Chelmsford |
 |
| 1. |
To proclaim the good news of
the Kingdom. |
| 2. |
To teach, baptise and nurture
new believers. |
| 3. |
To respond to human need by
loving service. |
| 4. |
To seek to transform the
unjust structures of society. |
| 5. |
To strive to safeguard the
integrity of creation and to |
|
sustain and renew the life of the earth. |
| "I want to encourage every church in the Diocese to keep these Marks
of Mission clearly in focus, that it may be with a clear sense of purpose and a
renewed confidence that we continue to work for the coming of the Kingdom of God." |

OUR STATEMENT OF MISSION
- We seek to be a Church for ALL
SAINTS.
- Not confined to a single expression
of the faith but open to a wide range of Christian experience and
expression; valuing each person regardless of tradition, race, or
sexuality.
- Walking with one another on the
path of Holiness.
- Seeking to be open to the world and
active in it.
