Just ASCCC (All Saints Church Computer Club)

There are now many members of our church who own a computer but how many are fully conversant with all aspects of its use and maintenance?

“I have difficulty sending an email” – “I can’t seem to set up my Word document as I want it” – “How do I change the font?” – “I can’t understand the stuff about anti-virus software and firewalls” – I can’t edit my photos properly”.

You have probably had these thoughts or even said something similar. Well, help is at hand. We have set a new forum and we want you to join. All that is required is your name, and a few details about you and your computer system.

This forum will have no meetings and no subscription. The idea is to have a list people and their abilities so that if you have a problem you can give them a call and say “Help?” Do you realise that there is probably someone in our church who has less experience or computer knowledge than you?

So the one objective of the club and its only reason for being is to form a mutual help society. Hopefully, those of us who have more computer/IT knowledge than others will be willing to give the necessary time to help anyone who Just Asccc’s for assistance.

Please remember you may not think that your experience and knowledge amounts to much but you may still be able to help someone else so please complete the form on the back of this page and put it into the box at the back of the church.

Incidentally, why Just ASCCC! – Hopefully, you will just ask a member of the All Saints Church Computer Club for assistance.

It will be helpful to everyone who uses a computer to know who else does and the sort of things they use it for.

Who is eligible for membership?

That's easy - any member of All Saints Church, Squirrels Heath who owns and uses a computer.

How do I join?

Either pick up a form from the back of the church or download and use the form online here and then click 'Print'. Return it to the Vicar, a Churchwarden or the Webmaster.
